WOW Druid Leveling Guide
Good going, the Druid is your character of choice. The Druid in the original world of warcraft could choose one of two races. For the Alliance Druid, the night elf is the race you will have to be. The Horde only enables the Druid to be of the tauren race. The worgen race for the Alliance and the troll race for the Horde were made available to be a Druid with the introduction of the Cataclysm expansion pack. Take a close look at the different racial traits to help you determine which race you would like to play unless you have already decided on the Horde or Alliance faction. Racial traits you should review for your Druid:
The night elf is very stealthy and getting out of overwhelming fighting situations is made easier with their increased dodge ability. The night elves' Prowl spell gives them heightened scouting and hiding abilities. If tanking is more your style then check out the tauren which get a 5% bonus to total health making them much better as a Druid tank. In the beginning, keep things simple for your character to make the first few levels a little easier to get through. For the first several levels simply get a feel of your character and what you are able to do. Keep yourself out of harms way by avoiding long periods of fighting. Fight from a distance in the beginning using spells and long range weapons. But don't misinterpret this as just fooling around. Focus your efforts on questing and be sure not to miss any quests. Double check each zone you are in to be sure that you have completed all the quests available.
Practice,practice,practice.
Thanks and Happy Gaming.
